Replacement Transition Rack Hook (R8)

Description

Replacement and Transition Rack Hook version R8 for TG’s BTS. Updated to R8; It allows to rack the bike from behind the saddle, on top of the transition rack – no need to slide the bike under the rack in T1/T2.

Based on user feedback, the hook “teeth” spread wider than the original and the hooks are also longer. This provides more stable racking (winds/bumps).

It is mounted by threading down from the top of the saddle.
The threaded inserts come at a 7 degree angle as shown below: it is meant to interface with either of my BTS offerings: Single BTS Bracket OR the side-by-side BTS.

That being said, it could be used as a “stand alone” if using a few nylon (plastic) washers to compensate the angle.
Let me know if the plan is to use as a standalone and I will provide some screws and nylon washers.
